How to Take IronBiotic for Maximum Absorption

Why Every Second Day Works Best

✿ It's best to take 1-2 IronBiotic capsules (depending on your iron levels) every second day. Your liver produces hepcidin, an iron inhibitor that lasts in the body for about 48 hours. Taking iron supplements every second day bypasses this mechanism, improving iron absorption in the gut!

When to Take Iron for Best Results

✿ Iron is best taken on an empty stomach, but it can cause nausea for some! Try taking it before bedtime, when your stomach is not completely empty but light enough to avoid discomfort.

What to Avoid When Taking Iron

Iron supplements don’t absorb well when taken with:

  • Caffeine
  • Green tea
  • Calcium supplements
  • Zinc

It’s best to space out IronBiotic from these by at least one hour!
