Why EverNatal is iron-free
Iron needs in pregnancy vary widely from woman to woman, and they change between trimesters. A prenatal with a fixed iron dose gives some women more than they need and others too little. EverNatal leaves iron out, so you can add it separately at a dose matched to your ferritin results. Pair it with IronBiotic when your GP or midwife recommends iron. Our guide to iron in pregnancy explains how to read your levels.
The range
EverNatal is our prenatal and postnatal multivitamin. It contains methylfolate, 550mg choline, iodine, selenium and active B vitamins. It supports healthy foetal development, including brain and central nervous system development, and healthy thyroid hormone production during pregnancy.
IronBiotic provides 24mg elemental iron as Ferrochel® iron bisglycinate, with a probiotic.
NeuroNatal DHA provides 125mg algae-based DHA, to support healthy brain and central nervous system development.
Sol D3 Drops and MitoMag cover vitamin D and magnesium for the whole family's routine. EverNatal For Him is for partners preparing for conception.
Frequently asked questions
When should I start taking a prenatal?
Ideally three months before trying to conceive. The NHMRC recommends taking folate for at least one month before conception and through the first trimester.
How much choline do I need?
The Adequate Intake is 440mg a day in pregnancy and 550mg while breastfeeding. EverNatal provides 550mg in two capsules.
Why doesn't EverNatal contain iron?
So your iron dose can be matched to your blood results rather than fixed. If you need iron, IronBiotic is designed to be taken alongside EverNatal.
Can I take EverNatal while breastfeeding?
Yes. It's formulated for preconception, pregnancy and breastfeeding, and supports breast milk production and lactation.
