Everyday wellness supplements, formulated by a naturopath
Not every supplement is about pregnancy. This range covers the nutrients women most often run low on day to day: iron, magnesium and vitamin D, plus creatine, which is emerging as one of the better-researched supplements for women's muscle and brain health. Every product is formulated by Naternal founder and naturopath Melanie Nolan (BHSc) and is TGA-listed (AUST L).
The range
MitoMag provides magnesium glycinate to support energy production and a healthy stress response. The glycinate form is well tolerated, so it's a practical daily magnesium.
IronBiotic provides 24mg elemental iron as Ferrochel® iron bisglycinate, with a probiotic. Women of reproductive age need more than twice as much iron as men: 18mg a day compared with 8mg. Check your ferritin with your GP before you start, and dose to your result.
Sol D3 Drops provides 500 IU plant-based vitamin D3 in a liquid drop, to support immune function and bone health. It's suitable for the whole family.
Creatine is made with CreHytine®, a 100% water-soluble creatine. It's TGA-listed, and designed for women rather than the gym aisle.
Frequently asked questions
Is creatine suitable for women?
Yes. Creatine is one of the most-studied supplements available, and research into its role in women's muscle and brain health is growing. CreHytine® dissolves fully in water, with no gritty residue.
Which form of magnesium is best to take daily?
Magnesium glycinate is well absorbed and generally gentle on the stomach. That's why MitoMag uses it.
Do I need an iron supplement?
That depends on your levels. Ask your GP for a ferritin test, and only supplement if your result calls for it.
Do these contain caffeine?
No. None of the products in this range contain caffeine or stimulants.
